The Association for Investment Management & Research (AIMR) has been very successful in establishing standards for the presentation of performance results to a firm's prospective clients.  Since their introduction in 1993, the Performance Presentation Standards (PPS) have grown to accomodate the dynamics of the investment market and the needs of the various market segments.  The author provides an update on where the standards are today.  We anticipate these updates to be a regular feature of The Journal of Performance Measurement.
