Douglas R. Lempereur is a 19-year veteran of the Franklin Templeton Investments organization and has over 33 years of investment experience. Mr. Lempereur joined Templeton in 1988, prior to its acquisition by Franklin Resources, Inc., and has served in a variety of capacities for the firm, including portfolio manager with a focus on emerging markets bonds, Director of Fixed Income Research, Director of Corporate Development for Templeton, and Senior Vice President of Global Portfolio Services. He has served as President and CEO of Franklin Templeton Investment Trust Management Co., Ltd. in Seoul, Korea and as head of the Global Investment Performance Services Department. Douglas assumed his present role as overseer of compliance of compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards in early 2006.
