All of the standards bodies for our industry continue to address the subject of risk and its role in achieving optimum investment performance.  More recently, the Securities and Exchange Commission asked mutual funds to report risk measurements along with performance data.  Consequently, the following description of the types of technology currently available-or needed-for monitoring and measuring enterprise risk is very timely indeed.
