Mr. Singer joined UBS Global Asset Management in 1990 (formerly Brinson Partners) and is member of the firm's Executive Committee.  In addition, he is a member of the UBS Group Managing Board, and is currently a member of the AIMR Research Foundation Board.

As Head of Asset Allocation and Risk Management, he has firm-wide responsibility for asset allocation and currency strategies, and developing integrated risk analysis and management capabilities for the firm's multi-asset and mutli-currency portfolios.

Mr. Singer attended Northwestern University and earned his M.B.A. at the University of Chicago.  He has contributed articles to investment publications on risk management, global asset management and performance attribution, which have received numberous awards and much recognition, including a Graham and Dodd Scroll and a Dietz Award.
