The GIPS Executive Committe, the governing body of the GIPS standards, recently approved the 2010 edition of the GIPS standards.  Administered by the CFA Institute, the GIPS standards are widely recognized as the preeminent set of rules regarding the presentation of investment performance.  To maintain their relevancy amidst a continually evolving industry, a cycle review and revision is completed every five years.
