Confused? Well, there ARE changes that go into effect in 2010 ...specifically, January 1, 2010. AND, if you're a GIPS compliant firm, you need to be aware of them so you can act accordingly. Unfortunately, since most were imbedded in GIPS 2005 (which went into effect in January 2006) and since so much attention has focused on GIPS 2010, many of these changes have been overlooked. But, unless you're aware of what's in store, your status might be in jeopardy.
