In the Spring 2002 (Vol. 6 No. 3) issue of this publication, there were two papers about multiperiod attribution (one by Andrew Frongello and one by Dave Spaulding).  Neither of them referred to the material in Davies and Laker (2001).  The purpose of this article is to make some connections between these three papers, in the hope of clarifying some issues.
